
Famous Georgian coach Shota Arveladze is back in Turkey. He officially signed a contract with the club Kasımpaşa, where he previously worked. This was announced through the club’s official pages, and the news sparked significant discussion in Turkish sports media.
Notably, from 2012 to 2015, Shota Arveladze managed this same club, during which time Kasımpaşa was recognized as a stable competitor in the Turkish Super League. His return was warmly welcomed by the club’s supporters.
The coach’s last workplace was the club Fatih Karagümrük, where Arveladze worked for only four months. Although he managed to implement some changes in a short period, the sides parted ways due to the results.
Uzbek football fans also know Shota Arveladze well, as from 2017 to 2020, he coached Tashkent's Pakhtakor and elevated the club to a new level. Under his leadership, Pakhtakor developed significantly both in composition and playing style, winning several championships.
