Former Kazakhstan and Russia national team coach Stanislav Cherchesov shared his thoughts on PSG’s participation in the Club World Cup, Euro-football.ru reported.
According to him, PSG may be somewhat fatigued, but as cyclists say, they are “coasting.” The team seems to be operating just like that. Cherchesov noted that PSG could win the tournament and then come to a stop.
For now, he said, their performance is excellent. The Parisians took first place in the group stage.
They edged out Botafogo and Atlético Madrid on additional metrics. They also recorded a better result than Seattle Sounders.
In the Round of 16, PSG defeated Inter Miami and will now face Bayern. According to Cherchesov, this PSG squad is very strong and capable of achieving great results in the tournament.
