The winter transfer window for the current season ended on February 25. On the final day of the transfer period, "Neftchi" club registered 4 players, but it was later discovered that some of the documents were falsified.
League experts were suspicious of certain documents related to players who had joined "Neftchi" from the "Cementchi" team. An investigation was subsequently conducted, and some aspects were re-examined. After that, the League contacted the Association’s special inspection, requesting a full examination of the case.
Over the past period, the special inspection reviewed all collected information, held meetings with representatives of "Neftchi" and "Cementchi", and clarified the issue. Although the contracts of the 4 players registered with "Cementchi" had not expired, staff members currently working at "Neftchi" falsified the documents that were supposed to be uploaded to the League on February 25.
As a result of identifying violations of the regulations, the case has been referred to the relevant UFA committee to apply sanctions against the responsible individuals and the club. Once a decision is made by the committee, detailed information will be provided, according to the UzPFL press service. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
