
Yesterday, in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the Asian Championship in sports wrestling among the U15 age group started, olympic.uz reported. The competition began with Greco-Roman wrestling, and the skilled wrestlers in this discipline tested their strength in all weight categories.
The Uzbekistan national team participated worthily in this competition, winning a total of 7 medals. Our team’s tally includes 1 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals. With this result, our young athletes in the “classic” style took third place in the team standings.

Gold medal winner:
In the 44 kg category, Sodiqjon Hamidov demonstrated high-level skill and claimed the championship.
Silver medalists:
-41 kg: Afruzbek Ibragimov defeated all his rivals in the group and stopped in the final.
-52 kg: Samandar Madaminov also fought selflessly and took second place.
Bronze medalists:
-38 kg: Mehmet Annageldiev
-57 kg: Muhammadaziz Gafurov
