Uzbek boys are making history at the World Youth Judo Tournament in Prague
The beautiful capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, has turned into the center of the international judo scene these days. Since the start of the “Prague Junior European Cup 2025” tournament, representatives of 32 countries from four continents — a total of 428 young judokas — have been fighting for victory.

Especially for our youth, the first day of the tournament was full of pride and joyful moments. The results achieved by our national judo team under the leadership of Kamol Murodov inspired all our compatriots.

On that day, our compatriots showed dedication and willpower, winning 2 gold and 2 bronze medals in the tournament. In the -66 kg weight category, Dishodbek Khamraev defeated all his opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium. In the +78 kg category, Umida Nighmatova, who defended the honor of our girls, deservedly became the champion.

Another pleasing result for our team was the bronze medals. In the -60 kg category, Samariddin Kuchkorov, and in the -63 kg category, Sarvinoz Khasanova demonstrated their determination in competitive bouts and stood on the third step of the podium.

Thanks to such success, the Uzbekistan youth national team took the lead in the overall team standings on the very first day. This serves as a new source of motivation and inspiration for our country's judo school.

The coming days of the tournament also promise to be interesting and uncompromising. We expect new victories and high results from our compatriots.
