An evening full of intensity and emotions took place at Moscow's “Oktabr” stadium — Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team won a friendly match against their Russian peers, CSKA U-17, by a narrow margin. The highly anticipated clash ended with a score of 0:1.

As a result of perseverance and organization, in the 40th minute Abubakir Shukurullaev scored a crucial goal for his team. During this preparation phase, the coaching staff tested the main squad and gave opportunities to reserve players as well. This positively affected the team spirit and the serious readiness of each footballer.
This match was one of the main tests in the preparation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, where our young talents tried to showcase their abilities. Almost the full main squad took the field — Ibrokhim Shokirov, Muhammad Hakimov, Mominjon Bahodirkhonov, Sadriddin Hasanov and others — firmly withstood the opponent’s pressure.
The coaches closely monitored every move, analyzing weaknesses and strengths. The reserve players also went through a serious test, which became a valuable experience for them in the future to earn a place in the main squad.
