The head coach of "Dynamo", Vadim Abramov, gave an interview to the club's press service ahead of the end of their training camp in Belarus. In the interview, he discussed the team's preparation for the season, working with new players, and transfer activities.
Abramov emphasized: "Preparation for the second part of the season is going according to plan. We have played three games, two of which have already been played. In such matches, the result is not as important for me; the main thing is the preparation process." He added that, although they lost to "Slavia" in the first game, the team tested new players and various tactics. "The quality of the pitch that day was not the best, and it affected the game of both teams," noted the coach.
In the second game, the coach decided to test a lineup close to the starting eleven. "It was important for me that the new players adapted quickly, and I was pleased to see them get involved in the game as if they had been with the team for a long time," Abramov said.
He also added, "For a player of a good level, the adaptation process won't take long." Speaking about the debutants, Abramov expressed satisfaction with their performance and added, "I hope we enter the important Super League and Uzbekistan Cup matches with good preparation."
Abramov also focused on the importance of the players returning from international duty without injuries: "Jahongir Urozov, Oybek Urmonjonov, and Edem Nemanov are returning from the national team. It's very important that they come to future matches without injuries," he said. According to the coach, players need to start the season without injuries and in good physical shape.
Furthermore, after the match against "Vitebsk", the team will return to Uzbekistan on July 26 and continue their preparation in Samarkand before the match with "Navbahor".
Abramov also touched upon strengthening the squad: "We haven't finished our work in the transfer market yet — there's room for new players. We are considering candidates, including some legionnaires, but they don't fit us. We are planning to strengthen the defensive line," he said.
He also noted: "There is still time, and if we find a player who meets our requirements both in terms of performance and financially, we will invite him to the team. But, as you can see from the example of Kojo, the demand for players is high. If we find a player who fits our game, we will offer him a contract," Abramov concluded.
Thus, Vadim Abramov shared his thoughts on the future of "Dynamo", new transfers, and the team's preparation process. Fans are eagerly awaiting when the team will take the next step and achieve new successes.
