As you know, the city of Bangkok in Thailand hosted the Asian Championship among boxers under 22 and among youth. Within the framework of this major tournament, the most talented, promising and strong young men and women of our continent spoke their word in the center of the ring, further strengthening their status on the international stage.
Today — within the scope of the last day of the competition — our boxers under 22 held their final bouts. It was precisely this decisive day that became the stage when the fate of the medals is determined, hearts beat fast, and the air around the ring heats up as well.
At this stage our team participated with the largest number — 14 representatives. This figure alone shows the level of preparation, the depth of the squad and confidence, and gives fans joy and high expectations.
Silver medal. In the final held in the -48 kg weight, Robiyakhon Bakhtiyorova lost to the Kazakhstani Gulnaz Buribaeva by the judges’ decision with a score of 1:4. However, this result itself is also a sign of courage and stability — the path to the final means will and experience.
Gold medal. Gulsevar Ganieva in the final of the -51 kg weight defeated the representative of Vietnam Thi Ngos Tran Nguyen with a score of 5:0 and became the champion of Asia. Five-nil — confident superiority, clear technical dominance and mental maturity.
Gold medal. In the -57 kg weight, Humorabonu Mamajonova easily defeated the Indian Yatri Shirishkumar — 5:0. Determination, timing and the balance of defense-attack all appeared at a benchmark level.
Silver medal. In the final held in the -70 kg weight, Oysha Toirova missed the chance against the Kazakhstani Bakyt Seidish with a score of 0:5. Nevertheless, the steps up to the final are a valuable lesson and strong motivation for the next competitions.
Gold medal. Samandar Olimov became a three-time Asian champion. Our boxer in the final of the -55 kg weight left no chance to the Mongolian Dulguunsaikhan Kharkhu — 5:0. Triple championship — stability, not bright luck, the result of systematic work.
Silver medal. In the bout held at -60 kg, Shokhrukh Abdumalikov lost to the Kazakhstani Nurislam Kaldiabayev by the judges’ decision — 2:3. The one-point difference reminds how high the value of each episode and each punch is.
Gold medal. Sayat Ilyasov is the champion of Asia. Our boxer in the -65 kg bout defeated the Kazakhstani Ilya Kalinin with a score of 4:1. Controlling the rhythm, taking the center and precise combinations — the strength of the victory is here.
Gold medal. In the final held in the -70 kg weight, Muhammadazizbek Ismoilov made another Kazakhstani, Nurbek Mursal, submit with a score of 4:1. Activity, pressing and tactical movement confidently left the opponent behind.
Gold medal. Shavkatjon Boltaev once again proved his unmatched status in Asia. Our boxer in the final of the -75 kg weight “chopib tashladi” the Indian Neeraj — 5:0. A clean “five” is a symbol of dominance and full control.
Silver medal. In the final of the -80 kg weight, Rahmatullo Boymatov lost to the Kazakhstani Sanjar-Ali Begaliev — 2:3. Fighting on the inside, the spirit striving to the last second — this is also the value of the team.
Gold medal. Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov in the bout held at -85 kg prevailed over the Iranian Sam Estaki — 5:0. A firm plan, accurate distance and strong punches — the result is clear.
Silver medal. At -90 kg Shakhzod Polvonov, by the judges’ decision, missed the chance against the Kazakhstani Temirlan Mukataev — 2:3. The slight difference outlined a plan of new steps for the next final.
Gold medal. Halimjon Mamasoliev is also the champion of Asia. Our boxer in +90 kg defeated the Indian Ishan Katariani with a score of 5:0. Heavyweight — great responsibility, but he superbly fulfilled the task with economical movement and thorough preparation.
Silver medal. At -54 kg Uzukjamol Yunusova lost to the host athlete Natnicha Chongprongklang and finished the tournament in second place. Despite the pressure of the home arena and tough competition, silver is a worthy result.
