One of them, our compatriot Akmaljon Isroilov, competing in the 85 kg weight category, fought against his Spanish opponent Ricardo Fresneda in the evening. Israilov's advantage was felt from the start of the match. He led the battle with great enthusiasm and without any retreat. He showed his superiority with powerful shots, keeping his opponent under pressure in every round.
In the end, the judges decided unanimously - Israilov won with a score of 5:0. Thus, our boxer secured a spot in the semi-finals of the World Championship and came one step closer to his goal.
It should be recalled that another talented representative of our country - Navbahor Hamidova is expected to enter the ring in an important fight for her. His opponent is the leading athlete of the Chinese Taipei national team, Chen Niyen-Chin.
