Saudi club head coach Matthias Jaissle shared his thoughts at a press conference ahead of the Al Ahli vs. Nasaf match in the first round of the AFC Champions League.
The German specialist noted that the team is preparing for the match with great anticipation. "We are all eagerly awaiting tomorrow's match. We had bright memories in this competition last season. We are pleased to be playing the first game on our home field and in front of our fans. Therefore, we will try to start the new season with a victory and continue to perform successfully," said Jaissle.
He also spoke about the opponent: "Of course, we have studied Nasaf's strengths well. However, to achieve victory, we will focus on our own capabilities. We also have very significant advantages."
At the same time, problems with the squad were also discussed: "Some players have suffered injuries in matches for the national teams. This is an unpleasant situation for me. But there's still one night to recover. The rest are ready to give their all on the field," said the 37-year-old coach.
