Well-known professional boxer of Uzbekistan Murodjon Akhmadaliev returned to his homeland after the fight against the Japanese world champion Naoya Inoue. At the Tashkent International Airport, he was solemnly welcomed by the general public, fans, and athletes.
Akhmadaliev spoke at the welcoming ceremony and shared his personal thoughts on the battle that had passed.
"I know most people didn't agree with my fight." Because I couldn't act the way I wanted in the ring either. Since the fight before me ended in four rounds, we were allocated approximately 15-20 minutes instead of the actual 36 minutes. Therefore, I didn't have time to fully perform warm-up and warm-up exercises. "I didn't have time to raise my pulse, so I couldn't fully demonstrate my capabilities in the fight," said the boxer.
At the same time, Murodjon noted that the preparation process went well:
- This time I was thoroughly prepared for the fight, I felt good. Even the weight loss process went smoothly. Everything went according to plan, but the factors still remained tied to time.
According to Akhmadaliev, he, like the entire Uzbek people, believed in victory and very much wanted it:
- I tried my best. But victory and defeat are from Allah. "God willing, we will return stronger," he added.
As a reminder, the fight lasted 12 rounds, and the judges unanimously declared Naoya Inoue the winner. Thus, Murodjon Akhmadaliev suffered his second defeat in his professional career.
At the same time, his stubbornness and mental stability gave fans great hope. The boxer expressed confidence that he would return stronger on the path to new victories.
