On October 1 - Teachers' and Mentors' Day, widely celebrated in our country, his students presented the 42-year-old specialist with a modern Mercedes car. This situation was met with great interest and respect not only in the sports world, but also among the general public.
To'lqin Qilichev was appointed head coach of the Uzbekistan national boxing team in August 2022. Under his leadership, the national team managed to achieve historic results in a short period of time. In particular, at the 2023 World Championship and the 2024 World Cup, Uzbek boxers took first place in the overall team standings and gained the attention of the world sports community.
In addition, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Tulkin Kilichev's students achieved great victories and won five gold medals. This result was recorded as an unprecedented indicator in the history of Uzbek boxing.
For his successful work and invaluable contribution to sports, Tulkin Kilichev was recognized as the best coach of the continent by the Asian Boxing Confederation in 2024.
And his students, appreciating the work of their teacher, emphasize that his initiative and support were the main factor on their path to victory. The car gifted by Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Isroil Madrimov, and Bakhodir Jalolov became a vivid symbol of this sincere gratitude.
