The Uzbekistan U-17 national team faced Turkey U-17 in an international friendly match. The game took place at the “Jar” Stadium and ended in a 2–2 draw.
In the first half, Islam Ismoilov’s side struggled — the opponents took a 2–0 lead with goals from Ilchin (18) and Erdoğan (45). Uzbekistan found it difficult to stabilize their play before the break.
However, in the second half, a completely different Uzbekistan team appeared on the field. The players showed strong determination and team spirit. First, Amirxon Murodov reduced the deficit in the 45+3rd minute, and later, in the 82nd minute, Nurbek Sarsenbayev’s accurate strike leveled the score — 2–2.
Both teams fought for victory in the closing minutes, but neither managed to score again.
Thus, the Uzbekistan U-17 team came back from a two-goal deficit to secure a hard-fought draw. The result once again demonstrated the young players’ character and unity.
