Sky Sports analysts have calculated when Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo could score the 1000th goal of his career.
According to experts, if Ronaldo maintains his current scoring pace, he could reach the 1000-goal milestone by October 2026. The analysis took into account his goals for both club and country, as well as the estimated number of matches he is likely to play.
So far, the 40-year-old Portuguese captain has scored 948 goals in total — 143 for the national team and 805 for clubs.
Ronaldo’s current contract with Saudi Arabia’s “Al Nassr” runs until the summer of 2027, giving him enough time to potentially break the record.
This season, Ronaldo has appeared in six matches for “Al Nassr,” scoring five goals and providing one assist.
Sky Sports experts note that this achievement further strengthens his status as the most prolific footballer in history. They add that despite his age, Ronaldo continues to perform at a top level and remains a model of professionalism and discipline.
Analysts believe that if he avoids injuries and maintains his current form, reaching the historic 1000-goal mark is a very realistic possibility.
