In the 8th round of the German championship, Stuttgart hosted Mainz at home and won, despite initially lagging behind. In the 41st minute, Mainz player Nadim Amiri scored from a penalty, putting his team ahead.
However, before halftime, Chris Furing leveled the score with a long-range shot. In the 79th minute, thanks to a precise pass from Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nyubel, Deniz Undav scored the winning goal for his team - 2:1.
Thus, Stuttgart secured their fifth consecutive victory, climbing to the top three of the league table with 18 points. Mainz remains at the bottom of the table with only 4 points.
