Former Spain national team and Barcelona footballer Jordi Alba spoke about Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery. Recalling his time working with Emery at Valencia, Alba associated the key changes in his career specifically with this coach.
“The main figure in my football career was Emery. He changed my position on the field and made a big contribution to my development.
At first, I didn’t want to play in defense, but Unai made that decision. Thanks to his help, I achieved a successful career,” the defender said in an interview with Tribal Football.
As a reminder, since 2023 Jordi Alba has been playing for Inter Miami in the United States. At the end of this season, he plans to retire from football.
