Toulouse winger Aron Dønnum may face a long-term suspension for his racist gesture. During the Ligue 1 match against “Le Havre”, Dønnum waved his hand in front of opponent Simon Ebono’s nose.
According to RMC Sport, the Ethics Committee of the French Football Federation is considering this gesture as discrimination. If the player's action is deemed racist, there is a possibility he will be suspended for up to 10 games.
According to the Norwegian player, his action was linked to an unpleasant smell coming from the opponent’s mouth. The game between “Toulouse” and “Le Havre” ended in a 0:0 draw.
