For PSG player Achraf Hakimi, the Champions League match against "Bayern" ended at the end of the first half. The Moroccan defender suffered an ankle injury due to a rough challenge by Luis Dias and left the pitch in tears.
He left the stadium with the help of crutches. According to Marca, Hakimi underwent a medical examination on Wednesday and was diagnosed with a syndesmosis rupture and a minor injury to the deltoid ligament.
The doctors at the stadium initially suspected a fracture, but fortunately, the injury was not too serious and Hakimi will not require surgery. Nevertheless, the PSG player will need approximately two months for full recovery.
This puts Hakimi's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on December 21, at risk.
