PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel regarding the defeat against "Bayern" in the Champions League. The Parisians lost 1:2 at home.
"This match was really spectacular: a high level of attacking and aggressive football was on display. In my opinion, the red card changed the course of the game.
It became a bit easier for us, but the opponent switched to tactics of breaking up the game and wasting time. You can understand them: they were playing with fewer men and had finished the first half with a 2:0 score.
I think it was really good football. I hope the fans enjoyed it.
The result was not satisfactory for us, but we will continue to work and try to improve ourselves," Safonov said in his video address. As a reminder, PSG have managed to collect nine points in four rounds of the Champions League.
