The VI Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have reached their peak. The Uzbekistan national futsal team also secured victory in the second match of the competition in Group "A," making a confident step towards the next stage.
Nodir Eliboyev's team this time faced the Azerbaijan national team and dominated throughout the match. The Uzbekistan team defeated their opponent with a large score - 13:2. This result clearly demonstrated the preparedness and physical superiority of our team.
The Games were held at the Olympic Sports Complex in the capital of Saudi Arabia. From the very first minutes, the Uzbek futsal players put the opponent under intense pressure. Ikhtiyor Ropiyev opened the scoring in the third minute. Subsequently, goals were scored by Abror Akhmetzyanov, Ilkhom Khamraev, Akbar Usmanov, and others.
Muzaffar Akhadjanov scored three goals in the game and took the lead in the team's attack. A close indicator to him was recorded by Muhammadali Husanboyev - he also scored three goals. As a result of the productive play of the futsal players who scored the most goals, the Uzbekistan team left no chance for the opponent for 40 minutes.
The Azerbaijani national team tried to resist several times, but against such a fast and tactically sound team, their chances were limited this time. Farid Abbasov and Emil Hazanzade managed to score, but this did not affect the result.
