In the second round of the U-17 World Cup in Qatar, the Uzbekistan youth national team, led by Islam Ismailov, played against the youth of Ireland. Having secured a convincing victory over Paraguay in the first round, our team started well this time as well, but failed to keep the score.
In the 20th minute, Abbosbek Shukrullayev opened the scoring with a beautiful shot and put his team ahead. But the Irish quickly regained their composure. In the 33rd minute, Grady McDonell equalized with a precise shot from inside the penalty area.
In the second half, the fight intensified. The Uzbekistan youth team launched several dangerous attacks, but it was not possible to score a goal. In the 75th minute, Mikayel Nunan brought victory to his team with a precise shot from near the penalty area.
