The tournament will feature four national teams participating in the World Cup: Uzbekistan, Iran, Egypt, and Cape Verde. This competition is considered an important test for testing strength against the backdrop of world-class teams, testing new tactical solutions, and strengthening preparation for the World Cup.
The Uzbekistan national team will play its first match in the tournament on November 14 against Egypt. This match is expected with great interest, as the African opponent is known for his physical strength and quick movements. The day before, on November 13th, Iran will face Cape Verde in the second semi-final.
According to the tournament format, the winning teams will play each other in the final on November 18. The losing teams will compete for 3rd place on November 17. All matches will be held at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE.
The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Fabio Cannavaro, emphasized the importance of psychological preparation for the team before the competition. In his opinion, it is impossible to remain indifferent to the fact that a ticket to the World Cup has been obtained. "We must say our word in every match, regardless of who the opponent is, we will only enter the field for victory," Cannavaro said.
