Head coach of the Croatian national team Zlatko Dalic shared his thoughts regarding the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Faroe Islands. The match is scheduled to begin on November 14 at 10:45 PM (Moscow time).
“We have always adopted a respectful approach towards our opponents, and the Faroe Islands are no exception, especially after their historic victories over the Czech Republic and Montenegro. They even gave us trouble at our home, so we do not consider them as an easy opponent.
Our goal is to secure participation in the World Cup and achieve the best results in the history of our qualifications. The match will be tough, but we are determined to strive for victory," said Dalic in an interview published on the official website of the Croatian Football Federation.
The Faroe Islands are still in contention for the playoff stage. Croatia currently holds 16 points from 6 matches, the Czech Republic has 13 points from 7 matches, and the Faroe Islands have 12 points from the same number of matches.
