The International Football Federation - FIFA has announced the list of contenders for the "Pushkash" award, which will be presented in 2025. According to him, the 11 most beautiful goals scored in world football throughout the year, which excited millions of fans, were selected as the main contenders.
The list provided by FIFA includes both young talents and experienced players. Below you can find the top candidates for this year:
Alerrandro (Vitoriya), Alessandro Deyola (Cagliari), Pedro de la Vega (Cruz Azul), Santiago Montel (Independente), Amr Nossir (Al Ahli), Carlos Orrantia (Atlas), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Rizqi Rido (Percia Jakarta), Kevin Rodriguez (Casimpasha), and Lamin Yamal (Barcelona).
In particular, the appearance of Lamin Yamal among the candidates is causing a lot of discussion - the young prodigy, despite reaching this level very early, once again became the center of attention. Declan Rice's powerful long-range shot for Arsenal is cited as one of the serious contenders for the award.
As a reminder, last year's Pushkash award went to Alejandro Garnacho, who played for Manchester United. His fantastic "knife" went down in history as the most beautiful goal of 2024.
It is no coincidence that FIFA has been awarding this prestigious award since 2009 under the name of the legendary Hungarian goalscorer Ferenc Puskás - the award recognizes the most impressive, highest top goals in football.
