The top scorers of the European section of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers have been announced. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland took first place in the list. He scored 14 goals in 7 matches, becoming the most effective player of the qualifiers.
Second place belongs to Dutch national team player Memphis Depay. He scored 7 goals in 6 matches. Depay once again confirmed that he is the main attacking force of the team.
Next on the list are Spain’s Mikel Merino, Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne, and England’s Harry Kane. Each of them scored 6 goals. Notably, Merino achieved this result in just 4 matches.
