Atletico Responds to Reports on Alvarez's Departure

Enrique Cerezo, president of Atletico Madrid, has commented on the potential departure of the team's striker, Julián Álvarez. Previously, reports suggested serious interest in the Argentine player from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Barcelona.

"Julián Álvarez is an Atletico Madrid player, and he will remain an Atletico Madrid player. Do not doubt this," said Cerezo, as reported by Barca Universal.

In the current season, the 25-year-old Álvarez has played 15 matches across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing four assists. According to Transfermarkt, Álvarez’s market value is estimated at €100 million.
