Achraf Hakimi named Africa's Best Footballer
Paris Saint-Germain's Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi has been named Africa's Best Footballer of the Year for 2025. The 27-year-old player shared his thoughts on this achievement.

"This award is a recognition of my many years of hard work. I extend my gratitude to my teammates, loved ones, and everyone who has supported me.

Your trust and support make me even stronger," wrote the star footballer on his social media accounts. Hakimi surpassed Egyptian Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Nigerian Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) in the voting.

Last season, Achraf won four trophies with PSG.
