
The former player of Munich's Bayern Munich club, Mehmet Scholl, experienced a true drama with this incident. According to Germany's Bild newspaper, his house caught fire due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
The fire initially started in a neighboring garage and later spread to Scholl's garage. Fortunately, the house itself sustained almost no damage; however, the garage and the car inside were severely affected.
No one was injured during the incident. Mehmet Scholl is renowned for his brilliant performances with Bayern Munich during the 1990s.
He played in 469 matches for the club, scoring 117 goals. Scholl won the German Bundesliga title eight times and achieved the Champions League victory in 2001.
