Haiti National Team Qualifies for World Cup Without Playing at Home

The Haiti national football team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the second time in its history. The first time this occurred was in 1974, when Haiti's players managed to score a goal against the Italian national team.

Interestingly, in the World Cup qualification rounds, the Haiti team did not play a single match on home soil. They achieved all their victories, including a decisive 2–0 win against Nicaragua, while playing away games.

In recent years, Haiti has been facing serious political and social crises. These issues have led the country into a state of rampant crime, with armed gangs even controlling the capital city, Port-au-Prince.

As a result, the Haiti national football team has been unable to host their matches at home stadiums.
