Slovakia's national football team head coach Francesco Calzona shared his thoughts on the draw results for the World Cup play-offs. Slovakia will face the Kosovo national team in March.
"Kosovo is a team that is growing and progressing in football. They chose their path and have followed it with determination.
Now they are seeing the initial results of their hard work," Calzona stated in an interview with "Telegrafi." "In the qualifiers, they achieved victories over Sweden and Slovenia, and managed a draw against Switzerland on their home ground.
We must try to make the most of our home advantage. However, we must not forget that Kosovo is a strong and dangerous opponent, even on the road," the coach added.
The winner of this pairing will face Turkey or Romania in the play-off final.
