Rapoport: Real Madrid Will Win the Spanish Championship

Former coach and sporting director of St. Petersburg's "Zenit" club, Boris Rapoport, believes that the winner of this season's Spanish championship will be "Real Madrid." The expert shared his opinion in an interview with the online publication "Euro-Football.Ru."

"This season has been challenging for the team, and difficulties are already noticeable. Last season, the Catalans performed successfully, but at that time, 'Real' faced setbacks.

This season, however, in my view, the 'royal club' will become the champion of Spain," Rapoport said. "Real Madrid," under the leadership of Xabi Alonso, is currently leading the La Liga standings.

The club has accumulated 32 points after 13 rounds. Meanwhile, "Barcelona," managed by Hans Flick, is trailing in second place with a one-point difference.
