Papen Calls Giroud His Friend


Former striker for Italy's "Milan" team, Jean-Pierre Papin, shared his thoughts on "Lille" player Olivier Giroud. Giroud, who recently played for "Milan," returned to France after a brief stint in the MLS championship in the United States and is currently representing "Lille".

"We are friends with Giroud, and I was very happy when he played for 'Milan.' Transitioning to 'Milan' after playing for 'Chelsea' and 'Arsenal' was not easy for him, but he found motivation within himself and delivered excellent performances," Papin stated in an interview with pianetamilan.it.

It should be noted that Jean-Pierre Papin himself played for "Milan" from 1992 to 1994 and concluded his football career in 2009.
