Samvel Babayan, an experienced specialist recently appointed head coach of Andijan, shared his initial thoughts with the club's press service.
"I accepted the proposal of the khokim of Andijan region, respected Shukhrat Kushakbayevich, and the club management. We all work together to create a new history. My career at "Navbahor" and "Pakhtakor" was very extensive, where I achieved maximum results. I aim to show similar results at the Andijan club," said Babayan.
Furthermore, according to Andijan fans, the team deserves to be a leader in Uzbek football. The "Andijan" fan club has become one of the brightest and most popular fans in Uzbekistan. I'm here to help their favorite team take pride in big results," the coach added.
He emphasized that to achieve this goal, it is necessary to start activities with renewed vigor. "We need to work a lot on and off the field. The regional governor asked to pay attention to the club's infrastructure. Work with youth and breeding work are of particular importance. We need to do this on a 24-hour basis," Babayan said.
In addition, the coach noted that he has achieved the best results in his previous clubs and intends to effectively apply this experience with "Andijan." "We face very important tasks. Preparations for our important match in the AFC Champions League in Qatar will begin on December 24th. We decided to give our players a break before this game," the new head coach concluded.
