Lentini Praises Rabiot as a Highly Intelligent Player

In the early 1990s, Gianluigi Lentini was considered one of the best Italian football players in the "Milan" squad. At that time, he performed roles within the team that French player Adrien Rabiot fulfills today.

However, Lentini's career was severely impacted by a serious car accident in August 1993 near Turin. Following this incident, his performance on the field began to decline.

Despite this, Lentini holds a high opinion of Adrien Rabiot's playing style. "Saelemaekers and Rabiot are leaving a very big impression.

Rabiot is a very intelligent player; he always finds ways to escalate the game on the field. Luka Modrić, as far as I’ve observed, has started to fight more actively to take possession of the ball.

Previously, he hardly ever showcased this style of play," Lentini remarked in an interview with pianetamilan.it. Interestingly, Milan's upcoming match will be against Torino, the team where Lentini played before his transfer to Milan.
