Most importantly, McLaren's young star, Lando Norris, officially became world champion for the first time in his career on Sunday.
In the Grand Prix itself, Red Bull leader Max Verstappen won, and another talented McLaren driver, Oscar Piastri, took second place. Norris finished third with perfect strategic actions, and this result caught up with him in the overall standings.
At the end of the season, Norris made history as the champion with 423 points. His main rival Verstappen (421), who was two points behind, fought until the last meter. Piastri finished the season in third place with 410 points - a real structural success for the team.
