New List of the World's Most Expensive Footballers Announced

As the year comes to an end, Transfermarkt experts have updated the market values of football players. Prior to the update, the world's most expensive football player was recorded as Lamin Yamal, a member of "Barcelona".

His transfer value was set at 200 million euros. While Yamal's value remains unchanged, two other players have now matched his valuation.

"Manchester City" forward Erling Haaland and "Real Madrid" player Kylian Mbappé saw their market values increase by 20 million euros, bringing both to 200 million euros. The top five most expensive football players in the world also include Jude Bellingham (160 million euros) and Vinícius Júnior (150 million euros).
