Why Flick Did Not Play Lewandowski Against Osasuna

Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski was left on the bench during Saturday's La Liga match against Osasuna (2–0). The Catalans opened the scoring in the 70th minute through Raphinha Dias' goal, and in the 86th minute, he struck again to extend the lead to two goals.

The experienced Polish player, although included in the matchday squad, did not take to the field. According to Spanish media reports, the 37-year-old forward did not participate in the game due to discomfort in his muscles.

The team, managed by Flick, will compete in the Copa del Rey Round of 32 against Deportivo Guadalajara on Tuesday, December 16. So far this season, Lewandowski has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 17 matches.
