Alexander Samedov, who became a Russian champion with Spartak, highlighted the most successful match of the Russian national team in 2025. In his opinion, the away match against Qatar's national team was the squad's most cohesive and substantive performance.
Samedov noted that throughout the year, the national team played a number of respectable matches. However, the quality of execution and the overall gameplay in the match against Qatar left the greatest impression on him. "The game against Qatar was very well-played.
In fact, each opponent was strong in its own way. At times, we played more brightly; at other times, we could not show much.
The best game, in my opinion, was the one against Qatar's national team; we played very well," Samedov’s remarks were quoted by "Sovetskiy Sport." This year, the Russian national team played 10 friendly matches.
