Bayern Sets Bundesliga Goal Record in 14th Round

Bayern Munich set a new scoring record in the 14th round of the German Bundesliga during a 2-2 match against Mainz.

Goals for Vincent Kompany's side came from Lennart Karl and a penalty successfully converted by Harry Kane. These goals marked Bayern Munich's 50th and 51st goals of the 2025/2026 Bundesliga season.

No team has ever achieved such scoring figures by the 14th round in the league's history. The draw against Mainz became only the second instance of dropped points for Bayern in this season's domestic championship.

Previously, Bayern had also drawn with Union Berlin. Nonetheless, Bayern Munich continues its undefeated streak in the league.

The reigning champion currently leads its closest rival, RB Leipzig, by 9 points. In their head-to-head encounter, Bayern defeated Leipzig with a resounding 6-0 victory.

The team's goal difference now stands at an impressive +40.
