Tottenham Sets New Home Defeat Record


London's Tottenham football club has broken its own record for the most home defeats in a calendar year. During the 17th round of the English Premier League, Tottenham suffered a bitter 1-2 loss against Liverpool, marking the club's 11th home defeat in 2025.

The previous record stood at 10 home defeats. In the match, Liverpool's goals came from Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike.

Tottenham's lone goal was scored by Richarlison. After 17 rounds, the team, under the management of Thomas Frank, is in 13th place in the league table with 22 points.
