On December 28 in Dubai, one of the football world’s most prestigious ceremonies — Globe Soccer Awards 2025 — was held with great celebration. Players, coaches, clubs and sports executives who shone brightest throughout the year were duly honored.
Dembélé — King of the Year
The ceremony’s top prize — the “Best Player of the Year” title — went to Ousmane Dembélé. The PSG winger caught the jury’s eye with his consistent performances this season, decisive goals and impact on the team’s results. Vitinha, Kylian Mbappé, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal were also nominated.
Luis Enrique — Coach of the Year
The Coach of the Year award went to Luis Enrique, who guided PSG to top positions in Europe and domestically. Xabi Alonso, Mikel Arteta, Hans-Dieter Flick and Enzo Maresca also competed in a strong field.
Ronaldo — King of the Middle East
In the “Best Middle East Player of the Year” category, the win once again went to Cristiano Ronaldo. The Al Nassr star, delivering outstanding numbers, finished ahead of Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez and Salem Al-Dawsari.
Youth and individual awards
- PSG’s Désiré Doué was named the Best Young Player of the Year.
- Best Forward of the Year — Barcelona star Lamine Yamal. He also received the special Diego Maradona award.
- The Best Midfielder award was presented to PSG leader Vitinha.
PSG — Club of the Year
Paris Saint-Germain, who collected six different awards, were named Club of the Year. The result clearly highlighted the Parisians’ complete dominance in 2025.

La Liga awards
For the 2024/25 season in La Liga, Hansi Flick was named Best Coach, Raphinha Best Player, Lamine Yamal Best Young Player, and Jan Oblak the author of the Best Save.
Overall, Globe Soccer Awards 2025 once again showcased PSG’s dominance, Ronaldo’s enduring stature, and the rapid rise of a new generation of young stars. The new football year is set to begin with fierce competition and major surprises.
