Samarkand Dinamo officially sign Til Mavretich

Samarkand’s Dinamo club continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new 2026 season. According to the club’s press service, the team have reached an agreement with Slovenian midfielder Til Mavretich, who has officially become a Dinamo player.
The 28-year-old foreign signing has joined the Samarkand side, who are currently holding a training camp in Dubai. It is noted that Mavretich has signed a one-year contract. In the club statement, he was introduced as another new arrival ahead of the season, with confidence expressed that he will adapt quickly.
Til Mavretich spent the last three seasons with one of Estonia’s leading clubs, Levadia. He made 102 appearances in total across the league, the cup, and the UEFA Champions League and Conference League qualifiers. In the 2025 season, the midfielder played 30 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
The player’s career path is also quite rich: he featured for Slovenia’s Interblock, Gorica and Tabor Sežana, and in Italy he played for Serie C side Monopoli. Dinamo expect his experience and game intelligence to bring the right balance in the new season—especially in central ball control and managing the tempo.
Notably, this transfer continues Dinamo’s active recruitment drive ahead of the new season. Earlier, it was reported that the Samarkand club also signed Uruguayan Mauro Brazil. This suggests the team are preparing not just to “take part”, but with far more serious ambitions.

Now the most interesting part is how quickly Mavretich will integrate into the team during the Dubai camp. If he can replicate his consistency from Levadia in Samarkand, Dinamo’s play in the new season could look even more solid and mature.
