Saudi club offers €1 billion for the Real Madrid star

Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli is working on a plan that could explode the transfer market. The Jeddah club is reportedly aiming to acquire Real Madrid's Brazilian winger, Vinicius Junior. This was reported by journalist Ben Jacobs.
Sources indicate that the Saudi Arabian club is prepared for a substantial offer for the 25-year-old winger. The issue revolves around a rare - even historic - amount in the market: there are rumors that the contract package could reach the level of a billion euros. Al-Ahli has reportedly identified Vinicius as one of the biggest goals of the summer transfer window.
So far, there's no such thing as "the matter is settled." On the contrary, it is reported that the terms of the personal agreement are currently being discussed with the player. That is, there is a process, but many doors are still open: negotiations, figures, deadlines, bonuses - everything is on the table.
Interestingly, rumors about Vinicius staying at Real Madrid had previously surged following the situation with head coach Xabi Alonso. However, according to the signal from Jacobs, the strong position of Saudi investors and a large supply may change the mood. These days, the situation around Real Madrid is not easy either - reports have emerged about increased pressure in the team due to the coaching issue.
And the numbers in the square? This season, Vinicius has made 30 appearances for the royal club, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists. This means he's still one of Real Madrid's most dangerous attack engines - that's why he's receiving his next "golden" offers.
The conclusion is simple: for now, these are negotiations about great interest and big money. But if the Saudi side is truly serious, the "theme of the year" in the transfer market this summer might revolve around Vinicius.
