A new chapter has opened in the career of forward Fyodor Chalov, who plays for the Greek club PAOK. The Russian forward has moved to Turkish Super League side Kayserispor on loan.
It is noted that the lease agreement is valid until the end of the season. Consequently, Chalov will try to help the team in the Turkish championship in the spring and will join Kayserispor's attacking line as an additional option.
As a reminder, Fyodor transferred from CSKA to PAOK in 2024. This season, he has played in 24 matches for the Greek club, including all competitions, scoring three goals. Now he has the opportunity to prove himself in another championship, in a different environment.
Another interesting detail: the Russian "colony" at "Kaiseryspor" is constantly expanding. With Chalov's arrival, the number of Russian legionnaires in the team reached three. Denis Makarov and German Onugha are currently at the club. This, on the one hand, facilitates adaptation, and on the other hand, can positively affect mutual understanding and communication in the team.
Kayserispor's situation in the tournament is serious: after 20 matches in the Turkish Super League, they have 15 points and are currently 17th out of 18 teams. That is, every point has become a matter of life and death for the club, and any new strength in attack is needed at this very moment.
Now the main question is: Will Chalov be able to quickly capitalize on his goal contribution at Kayserispor? If he adapts to the team's game in a short time and proves effective in attack, this loan could undoubtedly become one of the most important decisions of the season for Kayserispor.
