Milan failed to win against Como at San Siro

In the postponed match of the 24th round of the Italian championship, Milan hosted Como at their home, San Siro. The expected result was a victory, but the reality on the field turned out to be different: the match ended in a draw with the score 1:1. Looking at the atmosphere at San Siro, it seems as if the 3 points are ready, but football often rejects the term "ready".
The visitors opened the scoring in the match. In the 32nd minute, Paz took advantage of his opportunity and put Como ahead. Milan, on the other hand, spent a long time searching for a reply: they pressed, increased their speed, and increased their attacks. Finally, in the 64th minute, Rafael Leao equalized - it was the goal that saved the Rossoneri.
After that, the game revolved around the "second goal" for both teams: Milan did not stop trying to win until the end, while Como played disciplinedly and tried to create threats on the counterattacks. However, the score did not change - the draw was "sealed".

The result also affected the standings: Massimiliano Allegri's team remained in 2nd place with 54 points, 7 points behind leaders Inter. Como, on the other hand, moved up to 6th place with 42 points - for them, the draw was a "consolidating" result.
In short, Milan dropped two points at home at a time when every point in the championship race was worth gold. Now the pressure will increase again in the next rounds: Inter want to pull away, while Milan will have to convince themselves and their fans even harder that they can catch up.
