WBC light heavyweight champion David Benavidez spoke highly of the famous Ukrainian leather glove maker Alexander Usyk. He emphasized that there is no boxer comparable to Usyk among the current generation.
"Usik is undoubtedly the strongest and most uncompetitive boxer of our time. He won two big fights in a row, thereby further strengthening his level. I think no one can approach his level now," Benavidez emphasized.
He also touched upon the most important milestones in Usyk's career. The Ukrainian athlete, who initially faced the strongest opponents in the first heavyweight division, later moved to the heavyweight division, surprising many. Although many experts did not believe that he would achieve success in the new weight class, Usyk dispelled all doubts with his fights.
