According to the specialist, the season is not over yet and the team will continue to fight until the very last chance. In his view, a real defeat can only be acknowledged when all chances in the championship are completely gone.
Arbeloa emphasized that he demands maximum effort from the players and urged them to treat every match like a final.
“We will only be considered defeated when we officially lose the chance to win the title. Right now the fight continues. We must keep performing at our best until the end and aim for maximum results in every match,” he said.
According to the current situation, the Madrid club, which is in second place in the table, has collected 70 points after 31 matches. There are 7 rounds left until the end of the season. Leaders Barcelona have 76 points after 30 games.
