“Chelsea” head coach Liam Rosenior commented on the return of midfielder Enzo Fernández to the team.
The Argentine footballer was suspended by the club for two matches due to his public statements. Because of this, he missed the important match of the “Blues” against “Manchester City”, and the team suffered a 0–3 defeat at home.
According to Rosenior, the decision taken is not related to any personal conflict, but was made in order to protect the interests of the club.
“Any team would miss a player like Enzo. But we made this decision from the point of view of long-term interests. I have absolutely no personal problems with Fernández. He will return to the team on Tuesday. Enzo is a very strong footballer and a good person. I am looking forward to his return. We have already spoken,” he said.
Fernández’s return to the squad is seen as important news for “Chelsea”, especially as after the latest defeat the team feels the need to strengthen the squad.
It is noted that on April 18, in the 33rd round of the Premier League, “Chelsea” will host “Manchester United” at home.
