Oleksandr Usyk, the Ukrainian heavyweight who holds the WBA, WBC, IBF, and IBO belts and remains undefeated, shared his thoughts on a potential massive fight.
It is known that boxing fans are eagerly anticipating a clash between British stars Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. When asked about this specific fight, Usyk gave a clear and confident answer.
"AJ will win. He will become the undisputed world champion in the future," said the 39-year-old champion during a press conference held before his upcoming bout against Verkhovensky.
Anthony Joshua is currently 36 years old and has been competing in the professional ring since 2013. He has 29 victories to his credit, 26 of which were by knockout. At the same time, he has suffered 4 defeats during his career.
Joshua has achieved great success not only in professional boxing but also among amateurs. He is recognized as a 2012 Olympic Games champion and was awarded the Order of the British Empire for his services to sport.
Interestingly, the initiative for this potential fight came specifically from Tyson Fury. He openly challenged his compatriot, and it has been reported that Joshua accepted the call.
