Dinamo squanders late lead to draw against AGMK

"Dinamo" squanders lead in final minutes against OKMK

In the 9th round of the Uzbekistan Super League, Dinamo hosted OKMK in Samarkand, delivering a dramatic, high-stakes match for the fans. The encounter ended in a 2-2 draw, though the events on the pitch proved far more compelling than the final scoreline suggests.

The match began with an exceptionally early goal — just 49 seconds in, Abror Karimov scored an own goal to put the hosts ahead. This provided an ideal start for Dinamo; however, the momentum shifted in the 21st minute when Salim Mustafoyev received a red card, leaving the team to play with ten men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, the Samarkand side did not lose their spirit. On the contrary, in the 31st minute, Jaloliddin Jumaboyev skillfully converted a free kick to extend the lead to 2-0. The first half concluded with Dinamo firmly in control.

The tactical landscape shifted in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Aziz Kholmurodov reduced the deficit, bringing OKMK back into the game. The visitors maintained consistent pressure, and finally, in the 88th minute, Urosh Koyich restored parity.
